내일 토요일에

막내딸이 Monti 작곡의 Chardash라는 헝가리언 춤을 

바탕으로 한 집시의 노래를 연주합니다.

5가지 템포로 이루어 진 이곡은 애잔하게 슬프기도 하고

신나는 템포로 어깨가 절로 들썩여지고 손뼉도 치게 하는

춤곡입니다.

 Csárdás is a traditional Hungrarian folk dance, 

the name derived from csárda

(old Hungarian name for a pub).

It originated in Hungary and was popularized by 

Roma Music(gypsy music) bands in Hungary and neighboring lands.

 

 

 

Vittorio Monti (1868- 11922) was an Italian composer, violinist and conductor.

Monti was born in Naples where he studied violin and composition at the Conservatorio di San Pietro a Majella.

His only famous work is hisChardash written around 1904 and played by almost every gypsy orchestra.
