11월 2일 합창공연 2부- 슈베르트의 G장조의 미사, 브루크너 & 맥밀런 작곡의 성가

 

2014-15년 공연 시즌의 첫번째 공연으로 야심차게 '기적의 길' 을 

9월 29일에 윈스피어 뮤직 센터에서 전 좌석이 매진될 정도로 성공적으로 무대에 올려졌고,

 올 시즌 두번째 공연 Vivera 공연이 11월 2일 일요일에

1910년에 건축된 역사와 유서가 담기고

사스카추언 강이 훤히 내려다 보이는 곳에 위치해 있는

맥두걸 연합교회에서 열렸다.

 

 

2부 공연에서 슈베르트의 미사곡을 연주하는 모습

이번 합창공연은 1부는 RES (리차드 이튼 싱어즈) 합창단이

비발디 작곡의 잘 알려진 Gloria를 알버타 바로크 앙상블(Alberta Baroque Emsemble)과

협연으로 무대에 올려졌다.

 

20분간의 intermission 후에

2부 공연은  초대 게스트로 참가한

University of Alberta Madrigal Singers (알버타 대학 마드리갈 싱어즈)가

안톤 브루크너 작곡의 아베마리아와 Christus factus est,

1959년 생의 제임스 맥밀런(James MacMillan) 작곡의 Factus est repente 와

Data mihi omnis potestas 4곡을

심금을 울리는 청아한 목소리의 아카펠라로 청중을 사로잡았다.

 

초청 게스트의 아카펠라 공연 후에

RES 합창단과 합동으로

슈베르트 특유의 아름답고 감동적인 멜로디가 돋보이는

 Mass in G Major D167(G 장조의 미사곡)을 청중들에게 선사했다.

 

이 곡의 솔로로 소프라노 사라 샤웁(Sarah Schaub),

메조 소프라노 미레이 리야베치 (Mireille Rijavec),

테너 쟈크 아스놀 (Jacques Arsenault),

베이스 마이클 쿠샷 (Michael Kurschat )가 함께 호흡을 맞추었다.

안톤 브루크너 작곡의  Christus factus est (그리스도는 우리를 위해서...)

 

Christus factus est pro nobis obediens usque ad mortem, mortem autem cruces. Propter quod et Deus exaltavit illum et dedit illi nomen. quod est wupre omne nomen.

Christ became obedient for us unto death, even to the death, death on the cross. Therefore God exalted him and gave him a name which is above all names.

 

 

제임스 맥밀런 작곡의 Factus est repente (갑자기 천상에서 큰소리가 들려왔다)

 

Factus est repente de caelo sonus advenientis spiritus vehementis, unierant sedentes, alleluia; alleluia; et replete sunt omnes Spiritu Sancto, loquentes magnalia Dei, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.

Suddenly, a sound came from heaven like the rush of a mighty wind, in the place where they were sitting and they were filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke of the great things God had done alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia  (사도행전 2:2, 4)

두번째 공연을 성공적으로 마치고, 숨돌릴 틈도 없이

이틀 후인 어제 저녁에 가진 화요일 정기 연습 시간에 12월 첫째 주일에 공연될

헨델의 메시야 공연 연습으로 바로 들어갔습니다.
