물결 패턴으로 만든 스카프에 도일리를 이은 레이스 스카프

 

 

 

 

주로 대바늘을 사용해서 Knitting을 해서 다양한 소품을 만들다가

우연하게 인터넷에서 무료로 뜨개질 패턴을 다운로드받아서 

곧 다가 올 봄맞이도 할 겸 기분전환도 할 겸

오랜만에 코바늘을 사용해서 crochet 방식으로 새로운 스카프/숄을 만들어 보았다.

 

 

 

 

 

털실 소재

스카스/숄에 사용된 4가지 색상의 털실

 

 

 

 

Willow 회사 제품의 Verbena 털실, Springwater 색상

75% wool, 25% Nylon

스카프 도일리 만드는 법/Lace doily

 

큰 도일리(왼쪽)과 작은 도일리

 

 

Large Motif (Make 7)/큰 도일리 만드는 법

Ch 6, sl st to first chain to form a circle.

Rnd 1: 20dc in circle, sl st to join (20 dc)

Rnd 2: [sc, ch6, sk 1 dc] around, sl st to join (10 ch-6 spaces)

Rnd 3: sl st into ch6 space, [4dc in ch6 space, ch2] around, sl st to join (10 ch-2 spaces)

Rnd 4: sc in each dc and ch around, sl st to join (60 sc)

Rnd 5: [sc, ch6, sk 2 sc] around, sl st to join (20 ch-6 spaces)

Break yarn leaving 6” tail to weave in

 

 

NOTE: ch: chain, 

          sc: single crochet

          dc: double crochet

          sk: skip

          sl: slip stitch

 

 

 

 

 

Small Motif (Make 12)/작은 도일리 만드는 법:

Begin with a magic ring.

Rnd 1: 12 dc in magic ring, sl st to join (12 st)

Rnd 2: [dc, ch1] around, sl st to join (12 dc; 12 ch-1 spaces)

Rnd 3: [dc in dc, ch-1, picot, ch1] around, sl st to join (12 dc; 12 picots)

Note: Small motifs will be joined to other motifs while working

Rnd 4. Motifs are connected in a [Large- Small - Small] pattern ending

with a Large motif on the end. Refer to the image below.

 

 

 

 

큰 도일리를 먼저 만든 후, 작은 도일리를 만들면서

큰 도일리 하나에 작은 도일리 두 개를 이어 준다.

 

 

Joining motifs/도일리를 잇는 방법

Each motif is connected to another with a slip stitch in two consecutive ch-6 spaces.

To work a ch-6 join: [ch-3, sl st to ch-6 space of the motif that you are joining to, ch-3].

When joining motifs make sure to leave 5 unworked ch-6 spaces

between joins on the top of the large motifs and 11 unworked ch-6 spaces along the bottom.

Leave 3 unworked ch-6 spaces on the top of the small motifs

and 5 unworked ch-6 spaces along the bottom.

Rnd 4: [sc in dc, ch-6] around, working a ch-6 join in the appropriate spaces indicated above.

Break yarn leaving 6” tail to weave in.

Row 2: sc in each tr and ch until the end of the row.

 

Row 3: (tr, ch1, tr, ch1, tr) in first sc, [sk 2 sc, tr] 5 times total, sk 2 sc, [tr, ch1, tr, ch1,tr, ch1, tr] in next sc, *[tr, ch1, tr, ch1,tr, ch1, tr] in next sc [sk 2 ch, tr] 5 times total, sk 2-ch, [tr, ch1, tr, ch1,tr, ch1, tr] in next sc* repeat from * to * until the end of the row, turn.

 

Row 4: sc in each tr and ch until the end of the row.

몸통 마지막 단을 뜨면서...

 

 

 

 

이미 완성된 도일리 단과 slip stitch로 연결해 준다.

Finishing/Blocking/스카프 마무리하기

도일리의 끄트머리 부분을 코바늘로 마무리해 준다.

스카프를 물에 적신 후, 카페트나 rug 위에 커다란 수선을 깔고

스카프를 잡아 당겨서 반듯하게 편다.

 

 

 

 

도일리의 모든 마지막 단 고리(loop)를 모양을 잡아준 후, 핀으로 고정시켜 준다.

(가지고 있는 핀 수가 넉넉하지 않아서 고리를 하나씩 건너뛰고 핀을 사용했다.)

 

 

 

 

스카프의 옆 부분도 핀으로 고정해 주고,

 

 

 

 

몸통 끄트머리 단도 물결 패턴 모습을 만들어 주기 위해서 핀으로 고정시킨 후,

물기를 말리면, 몸통의 물결무늬와 도일리의 패턴 디자인이 

마른 후에도 변하지 않고 간직하게 된다.

참고로, 이 작업을 영어로 Blocking 이라고 한다.

 

 

 

 

스카프 뒷 모습

 

 

 

 

blocking 작업을 한 덕분에 스카프가 풀을 먹인 듯,

핀을 고정해 둔 형태로 레이스 패턴을 유지한다.

 

 

 

 

스카프 디자인이 마음에 들어서, 

연두색상의 털실로 두 번째 스카프를 이미 시작했다.
