by Helen of Troy 2009. 9. 17.

Where have all the flowers gone?

Blowing in the Wind,

Puff the magic dragon

Peter Paul, and Mary

Mary Travers

Peter Yarrow and Paul Stookey

Lemon Tree,

Leaving on a Jet Plane,

Blowin' in the wind

Bob Dylan의 Blowin' in the wind 나

Where have all the flowers gone?

Blowin' in the Wind

by Bob Dylan

How many roads must a man walk down,
before you call him a man?
How many seas must a white dove fly,
before she sleeps in the sand?
And how many times must a cannon ball fly,
before they're forever banned?

The answer my friend is blowing in the wind,
the answer is blowing in the wind.

How many years can a mountain exist,
before it is washed to the sea?
How many years can some people exist,
before they're allowed to be free?
And how many times can a man turn his head,
and pretend that he just doesn't see?

The answer my friend is blowing in the wind,
the answer is blowing in the wind.

How many times must a man look up,
before he sees the sky?
And how many ears must one man have,
before he can hear people cry ?
And how many deaths will it take till we know,
that too many people have died?

The answer my friend is blowing in the wind,
the answer is blowing in the wind.

The answer my friend is blowing in the wind,
the answer is blowing in the wind.

WHERE HAVE ALL THE FLOWERS GONE
words and music by Pete Seeger
performed by Pete Seeger and Tao Rodriguez-Seeger

Where have all the flowers gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the flowers gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the flowers gone?
Girls have picked them every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Where have all the young girls gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the young girls gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the young girls gone?
Taken husbands every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Where have all the young men gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the young men gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the young men gone?
Gone for soldiers every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Gone to graveyards every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Where have all the graveyards gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the graveyards gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the graveyards gone?
Covered with flowers every one
When will we ever learn?
When will we ever learn?

Ms. Travers brought a powerful voice and an unfeigned urgency to music that resonated
with mainstream listeners. related

Ms. Travers's voice blended seamlessly with those of her two colleagues, Peter Yarrow and Paul Stookey,

creating a rich, three-part harmony that propelled the group to the top of the pop charts.
Appearing for the first time on the West Coast since their separation in 1970,

Mr. Stookey, Ms. Travers and Mr. Yarrow reunited on stage at the Hollywood Bowl in 1978.
