What happens to a dream deferred?            

미루던 꿈은 어떻게 될까?

 

 

Does it dry up                                                                 햇볕 아래 건포도처럼

like a raisin in the sun?                                               쪼글쪼글 말라 버릴까?

Or fester like sore--                                               

And then run?                                                      

Does it stink like rotten meat?                                

Or crust and sugar over                                         

like a syrupy sweet?                         

 

Maybe it just sags                                                  

like a heavy load.                                                   

 

Or does it explode?
