헨델의 메시아 공연 2부와 3부

 

 공연에 앞서 가진 드레스 리허설 중에 휴식 중에 찰칵~

 

 

 

 

올해도 예년처럼 메시아 공연을 12월 3일과 4일에

에드몬톤 심포니 오케스트라와

4명의 근사한 솔로이스트와 함께

에드몬톤 시내 한복판에 있는

윈스피어 연주홀(Winspeare Center) 무대에서

연주홀을 꽉 채운 청중들에게 헨델의 아름다운 오라토리오 메시아를

크리스마스 선물로 미리 선사했다.

22. CHORUS (요한 복음 1장 29절 보라, 세상의 죄를 없애지는 하느님의 어린양이시다)

Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world.

 

 

23. 22AIR (Alto) (이사야 53장 3절; 50장 6절

사람들에게 멸시받고 배척당한 주님의 고통의 사람...)
He was despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.

He gave His back to the smiters, and His cheeks to them that plucked off the hair:

He hid not His face from shame and spitting.

 

 

24. CHORUS (이사야 53장 4-5절:진실로 주는 우리의 슬픔 맡으셨네)
Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows! He was wounded for our transgressions;

He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him.

Thy rebuke hath broken His heart; He is full
of heaviness. He looked for some to have pity on Him,

Behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto His sorrow.

He was cut off out of the land of the living;

for the transgression of Thy people was He stricken.

 

        

   32. AIR (Soprano 시편 16:10 하나님이 주의 영을 지옥에서 구하셨네) 
   But Thou didst not leave His soul in hell;

   nor didst Thou suffer Thy Holy one to see corruption.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates, and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors,

and the King of Glory shall come in. Who is the King of Glory?

The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

Let us break their bonds asunder, and cast away their yokes from us.

the Lord shall have them in derision.

Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron;

Thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

 

 

 

44. CHORUS (Revelation 19:6 요한 묵시록 할렐루야, 전능하신 주님이 다스리시니)

Hallelujah: for the Lord God Omnipotent reigneth.

The kingdom of this world has become the kingdom of our Lord, and of His Christ;
