Cupoletta/작은 규모의 돔
이 작은 반원의 돔은 2012년 이 박물관 증축공사 중에 발견되었는데
이는 브루넬레스키가 작업하던 공간과 일치한다.
그리고 "spina-pesce(헤링본) 방식으로 제작된
이 작은 규모의 돔의 건축양식은
1420-1436년 사이에 건축된
산타 마리아 델 피오레(두오모) 대성당의
거대한 돔 건축에도 사용되었다는 것을 보여준다.
이 건축 테크닉은 벽돌을 번갈아서 맛물리게 깔아서
서로 미끄러지는 것을 막아주는 이점이 있는데
이 피렌체 성당의 헤링본 간격은 58 cm로
'패렌체 브라치오'라고 불리는 이 간격은
반원형의 둥근 돔 건축이 가능한 것이 특징이다.
이 테크닉은 필리포 브루넬네스키가 최초로 소개한 기법으로
경제적으로나 건축적 기술적 면으로 아주 획기적이서
무사히 대성당의 돔을 완공할 수 있었다..
The Porta della mandorla/만도를라(아몬드)대문
이 조각품은 두오모 성당 북서쪽에 위치한 옆문
'만드로를라 대문"위에 설치된 작품으로
옆문 중에서 가장 정교하고 아름답게 꾸며졌다.
이 대문은 피렌체의 다양한 조각가들이
1404-1409년 사이에 함께 15세기 초반의 기법으로 제작되었다.
위에 보이는 대문 위 아치에 설치된 것으로 아래 그림의 F에 해당한다.
